Experimental cinema tries to reinvent its own language. Out of step with the film industry, it allows us to redeploy our spaces of perception, to re-watch, re-listen, re-feel, to think again. In this perspective, the practice of film at Labobine is an opportunity to experiment, in the digital age, with a primitive dimension of cinema in order to better question it: its medium, its chemistry, its materiality and its spaces of projection. The Erg's experimental film laboratory therefore opens the field to alternative practices, and aims to be a collective space for exchange. Development with renewable chemistries, coffee, beer, wine, chemical and manual interventions on the film will be the agents that will free the images locked in the emulsions. Any form of shooting and assembly - found or family film, developed or not, shot or not - or of setting in space - installation, performance or wild projection, each playing in their own way with the mechanics of the cameras, the projectors and the acetate film, will be as many fields to explore in order to build new ways of perceiving.
