This course focuses on the relationship between communication, culture, media and social stratification. It will provide an opportunity for a historical examination of media and mirror theorizations, as well as an examination through the prism of contemporary human sciences.

The course will present key concepts of different historical theoretical currents dealing with media cultures and communication, by relating them to current approaches taking into account both social and technological developments and those of research.

The course will present key concepts of different historical theoretical currents dealing with media cultures and communication, by relating them to current approaches taking into account both social and technological developments and those of research.
