Modular drawing

This module uses different processes to explore, encouraging the eye and the body to act and react. Through observation, seek out shapes that call out to you, extract them and give them a graphic existence. Then, by changing scales, creating links and articulations, new combinations and new contexts of use, the shapes are given new functions. In this module, drawing is exploited as a way of pointing, extracting, manipulating, distancing, bringing out sensibilities, giving birth to a project, marking a territory.

Practices such as those of Coline Sunier & Charles Mazé, Mike Kelley, Stanley Knife, Tom Burckhardt,The Trilogy Tapes, Les frères Bouroullec, Yûichi Yokoyama, Aglaia Konrad, Céline Chip and Aurélien Froment will be analyzed to open up spaces for reflection.
