Graphic design can be defined as the formal processing of information and knowledge. The graphic designer is then a mediator who acts on the conditions of reception and appropriation of the information and knowledge he shapes (Annick Lantenois).
Depending on the field in which they work (illustration, poster, corporate communications, press, publishing, packaging, advertising, web design, signage, visual identity, etc.), they are part of the graphic chain linked to printing or other media.

In the graphic design major, students develop and represent their Master's research through graphic works, with a multidisciplinary approach.
Master's level graphic design at erg enables students to generate visual forms to convey ideas, with a multidisciplinary approach. Graphic design is seen as a tool for reflection and investigation, in terms of both content and form, for exploring and exploiting visual territories. During the year, students will be encouraged to exploit their graphic vocabulary, develop practical techniques and software, reflect on the use of graphic design in our society and criticize graphic design practices and their use.

Experiment with the diversity of processes and influences in the practice of graphic design today.
