This course constitutes a space for mobilisation and experimentation between theory and practice as an integral part of the erg-specific pedagogical project.

The aim of the course if to lead you towards an understanding of contemporary culture via the (static or moving) images that surround us, to familiarize you with the different elements that make up the message conveyed by an image, so that you can equally use a similar methodology as a theoretical and artistic tool in your own practice.

In this context, I will demonstrate how to approach contemporary culture and artistic production through a broader field of knowledge (society, art, technology, social media, etc), showing that the object of analysis is a cultural phenomenon that exists at the intersection of knowledge and skills, whilst being situated within the contemporary intellectual milieu.
