'La Friche' relation / space / collective

De erg

Teachers : Amélie Laplanche, Julie Morel, Ivo Provoost

in 1st quadrimester

In B1, the multidisciplinary workshop ‘la friche’ works in cycles.

In each cycle, the teaching team takes the students on a tour of places, landscapes, practices and situations inside and outside the school.

On the basis of these experiences, the students identify their own avenues of work and choose their angles of vision in order to experiment with personal and/or collective, material and/or immaterial forms.

Finally, they try out different ways of sharing their experiments and research in progress, working in the space to bring them into contact with the other participants in the workshop.

In B1, the multidisciplinary ‘la friche’ workshop also aims to : Anchor students in the school through the use of different learning spaces, technical spaces and Cross-disciplinary and collective projects.

These cross-disciplinary projects and learning spaces are sometimes invited to initiate or accompany work cycles at a.p Friche over several weeks.

2nd quadrimester

In the second term, all the PAs work together on a collective project based on a particular form (a film, a cabaret, a parade, etc.).

This project provides an opportunity to

- Meet all the bac1 students, create links and share knowledge by taking turns as learners.

- Experiment with a self-managed project and develop autonomy in the search for tools and resources useful to the project. To get to know the players, spaces and tools available in the school.

- Take an active role in a collective project and experiment with organising an event in a large group.

- Get to grips with unexpected learning experiences.
