Analyzing and questioning what typography is today, the Typography orientation invites the student to question its codes and applications, to relay content and to develop a critical and personal view.

The workshop proposes to approach design through a mainly typographic axis and in various contexts:

• First of all, the editorial context by dealing with questions of typographical choice and hierarchy, format, grid, narrative structure, materiality…  Analyzes of works and introductions to the rules and uses of typographic composition are regularly proposed in order to nourish their projects and sharpen their eyes.

• Through the context of the poster, typography is also approached as a sign considering its meaningful and evocative quality.

• Each year, a collective project linked to an event is proposed by the workshop. This exercise leads students to deal with questions of identity, paper and digital communication, scenography, organization and management.
