Initiation and development of personal practice based on experimentation and research through collective and/or individual practices. The sculpture considered as the result of a thought translated through its creative processes. Sculpture considered as an experimental and prospective artistic practice. The name "sculpture" understood in its broadest sense, in its widened field. A discipline bringing together a diversity of practices, a heterogeneous and polymorphic discipline. The course therefore considers sculpture in its plurality and also questions it in its relationship to other artistic disciplines that can be called upon by the student who will connect them to his practice as a sculptor.

Particular attention will be paid to the discovery and manipulation of materials, to the acquisition of techniques and production methods related to the practices of sculpture, as well as to the characteristics specific to the sculptural gesture. Materials and their physicality as building blocks of sculpture, form, volume. The materials linked to the gesture and the process that shape them and from which the form derives. The sculpture considered to contain the memory and energy of its own creation. Technical and thematic exercises and workshops.

The development of a singular, conscious and autonomous personal practice will be expected while radicalizing the plastic language. Fully in line with a contemporary sculptural approach. Achieving a match between what is sought and what is obtained, from a plastic and reflexive point of view. Situate his practice, specify the issues and motivations of his artistic approach. Coherently interconnect all of one's practice. Interconnect your practice with other artistic and non-artistic fields.
