Teacher: Antoine Boute

1/ A critical survey of several writing devices from a reflexive, theoretical and conceptual point of view. This “theoretical” section of the course will introduce a series of practical exercises.

2/ Writing exercises, with the purpose of exploring various techniques and modes of writing, as well as sharpening the students’ critical and reflexive sense in relation to their personal artistic approaches, and encouraging to distinguish abstract issues in relation to the interrogations raised by concrete practices — in order to pave the way, as a medium-term objective, to a reflection on the end-of-the-year dissertation. These exercises will lead to various editorial objects.

3/ Using other language practices mainly linked to oral speech. Reading and performance sessions will be held in order to carry our reflections and creations beyond textual boundaries.
