In order to arrive at a comprehensive definition of sound in time and space, this technical course will explore the mysteries of sound through experiments in production across the electro-acoustic chain and the circularity of sensations it provokes. Questioning listening habits. Interrogating the methods for translating the sensory, perceptual experience of sound. Opening up the entire imaginative and material spectrum. Integrating the different sonic properties (spectrum/intensity/volume/duration/grain/space), supports, techniques, devices and representations in order to build a concrete, sensory palette for visualizing sound.

The course will be 80% practical oriented. That said, some questions will arise during the creation process that are worth thinking about.
