The course is divided into two parts:

The Anthropology II course will address questions of contemporary anthropology in the broad sense. A panel of chosen concepts will be explored jointly by the teacher and the students. A focus will be made on the practice of the field as a possible tool for research with a view to carrying out the student's artistic project.
The first consists of a presentation of the major currents in anthropology since its beginnings. Through these, we'll look at the founding and defining authors and concepts of the discipline.
 
  
The second is a more specific approach to the use of cinematographic images in anthropology.

We will (re)discover the anthropological discipline through the prism of its multiple definitions over time and authors. These definitions will lead us to reflect in greater depth on certain contemporary anthropological themes such as visual anthropology, the anthropology of art, of the body, of nature, etc.
A theme that varies each year completes and ends the year (anthropology of the body, anthropothanatology, anthropophagy, etc.).

We will also discover together the results of the research carried out by the students.

Contemporary anthropological themes will be addressed through lectures but above all through readings, discussions, film viewing, games, outings and presentations by students. they will have to tell each other the results of their research around the concepts chosen to be approached from an anthropological perspective (or from a field monograph). A micro-field will also be created throughout the year, which they will present to each other at the end of it. This research can be done individually or in groups of two or three people.
