Masters with specialized, in-depth and didactic focus
De erg
erg organizes masters which pursue three purposes. When you register, you must make a choice among these three purposes.
Specialized purpose
The purpose of the specialized master's is to support students in the experience of a transdisciplinary and heterogeneous practice. The student's study program revolves around artistic, formal and theoretical research and experimentation. This accompaniment takes place pedagogically within the multidisciplinary workshop, workshop courses and theoretical courses which all mobilize multiple and critical knowledge. This is a master's degree specifically developed by the erg, teaching and administrative team and the students.
In-depth purpose
The Master's with an in-depth focus aims to support students in research within the framework of a transdisciplinary and heterogeneous practice. In this context, the structure of the master's with an in-depth focus allows the student to combine elements of the common educational context of the masters of the erg with all the disciplinary fields of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. The student is therefore responsible for constructing, in part, the content of his study program with regard to his research project.
Didactic purpose
The didactic master's aims to support students in the experience of a transdisciplinary and heterogeneous practice associated with teaching pedagogy and artistic didactics. In this context, the structure of the master's didactic purpose arranges the elements of the pedagogical context common to all the masters of the erg with a series of courses specific to teacher training, but also opens up the possibilities of research in art pedagogy. The didactic master's degree is co-organized with ESA Saint-Luc Brussels. The teaching units dedicated to artistic pedagogy and didactics are organized on a staggered schedule, i.e. at the end of the day and/or on Saturdays.
The diploma of this master constituting an educational title in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation, it allows access to a teaching position within upper secondary education as well as within artistic secondary education at reduced hours.
