Eleanor Ivory Weber is a writer, artist, theorist and publisher living in Brussels, working internationally. Artistic projects include 'On and Off the Grid' at Kunstverein München, 'Supply and Supply' at Maison Pelgrims, Q-O2's Mayday Radio Marathon (w/ Marcus Bergner), 'Word without return' (w/ camille gérenton) at ISELP, 'Aftertaste' at Établissement d’en face, 'Christine Villemin' at Buenos Tiempos, Int., and 'No Private Problems' at M.I/mi1glissé. Her writing has been published in Afterall, Dissect, frieze, How to Sleep Faster, How to Become a Lesbian, Jacket2, Meanjin, SALT. magazine, This Container, and for catalogues published by Museum Abteiberg, Bâtard Festival, Kunstverein Nürnberg and Art Gallery of New South Wales. Since 2018 she teaches art theory and critical practice at Erg (École de recherche graphique–école supérieure des arts), and is co-director with Camilla Wills of Divided Publishing. Eleanor holds a Specialised Masters in Political Philosophy and Theory from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, and graduated from the Post-Master program at a.pass (advanced performance and scenography studies), both in Brussels. She is the 2022 recipient of the Flanders State of the Arts—Residency Unlimited artistic residency in New York City.
