Nouvelle page

Teacher : [[Alix Turcq]]

The BàOt course - Radiophonic Creation and Self-Media is a broad introduction to the creation of an independent radio media by exploring both the field practices of sound documentary (interviews, field recording, reports) and the forms of live expression of a radio studio (column, debate, radio-insitu, music). This teaching combines technical training (sound capture and production tools and radio studio management and broadcasting equipment) with artistic practices of sound and documentary creation, theoretical reflection on the issues of media autonomy and collective organization methodology. The practice of radio is here seen as a means of exploring, understanding and acting on one's environment. The course then alternates between moments in the classroom, sometimes inviting actors of DIY radio to the task and moments outdoors, visiting sound creation and radio locations in the city or exercising sound capture. This course is designed to support the activities of the student radio station Ergote Radio (without being a prerequisite). This course does not require any prior technical skills.
