The course will be organized around a number of texts that will be read and discussed in terms of form, content and issues. Three threads are interwoven: (1) commentary on a selection of avant-garde texts from the early 20th century to the present day; (2) encounters with 4 authors as part of The Living Library, a platform for discussion and reflection on contemporary texts; (3) the creation of a literary notebook in connection with the student's artistic practice. e. Topics covered include: Raymond Roussel, Thomas Bernhard, Claude Louis-Combet, Hélène Cixous, Elfriede Jelinek, David Vann, Georges Saunders, Elsa Boyer, Hortense Raynal, Aurélie Olivier, Alexandre Bonnet-Terrile, Stéphane Bouquet, Louise Glück, Marieke Lucas Rijneveld, Anna Ayanoglou, etc.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
